Anime & Game Trails Japan is an independent English-language publication for travelers who want to explore Japan through anime, games and the neighborhoods around them.
What you will find here
Our guides bring together destination ideas, suggested routes and practical checks. We begin with Tokyo and expand when we can support a guide with useful sources. A guide may be researched from official information rather than based on a personal visit; each article states its basis.
Our editorial approach
- Use official venue, tourism and transport information for practical claims.
- Show the information check date and link to the sources used.
- Distinguish confirmed anime connections from unverified fan theories.
- Label suggested schedules and budgets as estimates rather than measured results.
- Never invent visits, hotel stays, photographs, product tests or booking outcomes.
Booking and commercial links
