Trails JapanA FIELD GUIDE FOR FANS
TRANSPARENCY
Affiliate Disclosure
We want you to understand when a recommendation can earn this site a commission and what to check before you book.
Current status
No affiliate booking links have been added to the initial guides. Links to tourism authorities, shops and venues are ordinary information links. We do not currently accept payment or arrange reservations on this site.
How future affiliate links will work
Some future guides may contain links through approved partner programs. If you follow an identified affiliate link and make an eligible booking or purchase, we may receive a commission under that program’s conditions. The article will disclose the relationship near the beginning, and the commercial link will be identified.
How we choose what to include
A service must fit the trip discussed. We will explain relevant differences such as dates, language, inclusions and cancellation terms. We will still link to official information when no commission is available. A paid relationship does not establish that a service is the cheapest or the best choice for every traveler.
Before reserving
Check the provider’s current total price, taxes, cancellation policy, payment currency, eligibility and booking confirmation. Prices and availability on external sites can change. We will distinguish a researched comparison from a stay or experience that the writer actually used.
See our editorial policy for sourcing and update standards.
